5 – 18 Mar 2021, all day in the windows
The project inside:OUT presents eleven internationally working artists from Berlin in three exhibitions. In collages, graphics and drawings, they show interior views, changes of perspective and dialogues between resistance and adaptation on five large-format window surfaces.
In Part II, Galerie Nord | Kunstverein Tiergarten will commemorate the 150th birthday of Rosa Luxemburg on 5 March, simultaneously with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Hanoi/Vietnam.
At Galerie Nord, Berlin-based artist Veronika Radulovic presents her work “Ich umarme dich”. This fictional dialogue with Rosa Luxemburg made of drawings, photos and texts, which takes up the form of the leaflet, is shown in five windows of the gallery. Accompanying it are videos by two renowned Vietnamese artists: Nguyen Trinh Thi presents “Landscape Series No.1” (2013) and Tran Kim Ngoc “Woman Escape” (2021).
The exhibition “Those who do not move, do not notice their chains” in Hanoi, curated by the Vietnamese artist Tuan Mami, will also feature Nguyen Linh Phuong and Joyce Ho. With this exhibition, Galerie Nord is continuing the tradition of numerous collaborations with Vietnamese artists.
With works by Veronika Radulovic, Nguyen Trinh Thi and Tran Kim Ngoc.
